A technopreneur at heart, J has spent the last decade moving boulders in the Telecom domain in India. Involved in rolling out the first rural wireless telephone network for a private carrier, J has been with giants like Motorola, Kyocera and Tata Teleservices. He’s got his hands dirty with technology marketing, program management, new product development, and product marketing; launching over 50 GSM and CDMA devices in India.

J has worked extensively in research & analysis, market entry, business growth strategy, and investment advisory across various players in the telecom value chain including technology & chipset companies, infrastructure vendors, device OEMs, carriers, VAS companies & PEs/VCs.His last stint has been with a consulting business where he has been spearheading the business and technical aspects of a MVNO deal in Africa.

Oh yes – J can’t live without his family (and Metallica) and currently resides in Bangalore. You can catch him at Hard Rock Café preparing a business plan or fine tuning a marketing strategy.
